Export of Thai Fruits Grown Continuously in Q1-Q2 of 2023

The export volume of Thai Fruits during the time increased by 66%, the value reached more than 100 billion THB.
Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs was acting as spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that the Ministry of Commerce has reported a summary of the situation of fruit in 2023 with a total output of 6.75 million tons. An increase of 3%, divided into the domestic market 40% and the export market 60% in the first 4 months of this year (January – April 2023). In terms of important fruit exports, such as mangosteen, increased exports of durian and longan, reflecting the success of cooperation from all sectors including various measures that the government has taken continuously.
The Prime Minister praised the cooperation from all sectors that helped push Thai fruit products with potential, reputation, creating trade value in both domestic and international markets. The past trade figures reflect concrete success from operations.
The government is ready to continuously promote sales growth of Thai fruits through various policies and measures to raise the quality and standard of Thai fruits to the international level.
